Deeply marked by the great periods of history, Arles has managed to preserve some impressive testimonies: its historic centre, but also its museums. There’s the Musée Départemental Arles Antique, where you can learn about the heritage bequeathed to us by the Romans, the Musée Réattu, the Musée des Beaux-Arts, which houses works by the painter Jacques Réattu as well as a collection of drawings by Picasso, and the Museon Arlaten, created on the initiative of Frédéric Mistral in 1899 and devoted to the ethnography of Provence. You will discover the historic centre and one of these museums during your visit.
