Focusing on the issue of education and keeping schools open, sometimes despite the proximity of the front line, this is a portrait of the resilience of a people, concerned, beyond its own defense, to preserve its culture and history, which cannot be reduced to the ongoing conflict. Moving in the spirit of resistance it conveys, this film is a poignant and raw testimony to life in the midst of carnage.
