“Painting Here” – Sébastien Abot
A heritage expert, artisan, and painter, Sébastien Abot unveils works created during his artist-in-residence program. Through his mastery of color and light, he offers a unique perspective on Arles, ranging from familiar views to more intimate settings.
Palais de l’Archevêché – 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
“La Chambre des Monuments” – Sarah Gautier
An illustrator specializing in “spatial portraits,” Sarah Gautier focused on Arles’s monuments during her artist residency. In particular, she presents a bold reinterpretation of Van Gogh’s “The Bedroom in Arles,” rendered in a striking monochromatic blue.
Salle des Pas Perdus – on view continuously.
“Foule” – Kiki Tonnerre
Arles-based visual artists Julie Conan and Gabriel Pollet, working together under the name Kiki Tonnerre, create a world based on the dialogue between lines, strokes, and dots. Created during their residency, their installation “Foule” offers an artistic experience designed specifically for the space that hosts it.
Saint-Blaise Church – from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Three exhibitions, three artistic worlds, and just as many ways to see Arles and its heritage in a new light.
