In the tradition of minhwa, Korean folk painting, the plum blossom—which symbolizes perseverance and resilience—is often depicted on folding screens, prints, and vases. Inspired by this ornamental art form, Les Petits Fans have created a winter bouquet using Indian ink and watercolor, playing with shades, transparencies, and textural effects to evoke the fragility of the petals and the strength of the branches.
