Animals of Minhwa
In this workshop, children discover the iconic animals of Korean folk painting—the tiger, the magpie, and imaginary creatures from legends. Through images and short stories, they learn about the animals’ symbolism and artistic style, which is often humorous, expressive, and colorful. They then create their own animal inspired by this world, present it to the group, and finally design a poster for a collective illustrated bestiary.
