The Salon International des Santonniers d’Arles was created in 1958 by santon craftsmen, whose president was Monsieur Marcel Carbonel, and the illustrious curator of Arles museums, Jean Maurice Rouquette.
For more than 60 years, Arles has honored the craft of santon making and this emblematic folk art.
In 2025, the Italian town of Aosta will be the guest of honor.
