From 7pm: Antirides – episode 3
The Bazar Palace company lights up and sets the scene for this special night to celebrate Museum Night and the 30th anniversary of the Musée Bleu.
From 7pm: The Roman world drawn by MoPA students
As they do every year, 40 students in preparatory classes at MOPA present their vision of the Roman world. Their sketches, produced during a series of academic drawing sessions, are exhibited and projected on the museum walls throughout the evening.
From 7pm: Blue intact: the history of the museum on stage (La classe, l’œuvre project)
Like wacky tour guides, schoolchildren re-enact the museum’s history, myths and legends for visitors wandering through its spaces. A theatrical creation that combines memory work and birthday celebrations, based on archives and testimonials from visitors and museum staff.
Created and performed by students from the theater option at Lycée Montmajour and the theater workshop at Collège Robert Morel in Arles, under the direction of director Raouf Raïs.
From 7pm: sound bites (La classe, l’œuvre project)
Museum objects speak out to tell us about their use in Antiquity, their adventures, their discovery and their life in the museum. Discover them on listening terminals in the collections.
Podcasts created by CM2 pupils from the Paul Langevin school in the Barriol district, accompanied by chronicler Ambre Gaudet, sound engineer Morgan Peyrot and sound designer Léopold Roy.
Projet Terre
Adults supported by the CSAPA Camargue – La maison jaune, the CSAPA Camargue Mas Thibert and the CHRS-CHU-Maison Copernic discovered the museum’s collections through clay, gesture and form. Their sensitive creations, exhibited in the collections, are the fruit of work on the bas-relief technique, and nurtured by a dialogue with Antiquity facilitated by a cultural mediator.
7-10pm: Makoto San interludes
Let yourself be surprised by the musical interludes of this mysterious group.
10.30pm: Makoto San concert with Les Suds
Like the museum, the Les Suds world music festival in Arles is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. The closing concert of this year’s Nuit des musée is a fitting way to celebrate this double event. Between Japanese percussion performances and techno club, between hypnotic loops and dance frenzy, a new shoot in Hortus: electro bamboo!
