Based on a repertoire of medieval songs in Old French, Judeo-Spanish, Latin and medieval Arabic, Emmanuelle tells the story of the cloister and brings to life its mythological, biblical and fantastical characters: virgins and saints, maids, emperors and queens, pilgrims, monsters, naimals and plants.
The guitar arrangements modernize these ancient songs, weaving a link between yesterday and today.
A suspended moment, accessible to all audiences, where words and music resonate with the stones of the cloister.
