Les Rendez-vous des Jardins takes place once a month on a Sunday in the Verrerie gardens in Arles (Trinquetaille district).
It’s an opportunity to discover the activities of the third-party garden center set up on the site, to get together and (re)connect with nature… and with each other!
This time, a delicious galette des rois to share will be waiting for us at the guinguette!
Find out more about the program for Sunday, January 25 from 1.30pm:
BIRD BALL AND MANGEOIRE MAKING – 2pm-4pm
A little help for our birds! Even protected by their feathers, their food is scarce in winter.
To help them out, let’s make seed and grease balls and a bird feeder from recycled materials.
With Françoise, facilitator of the tiers-lieu
(open to all, 6 years and up, max 10 participants)
VISIT TO THE FARM – 2pm-4pm
To prepare for the summer season, we’re busy cleaning out the empty frames: freed of parasites and stored under cover, they’ll be ready for the hives in spring.
With Luc, amateur beekeeper from Le tiers-lieu.
(open to all, aged 15 and over, max 5 participants)
SOWING OUR FLOWERS – 2pm-4pm
To celebrate the season of the galette des rois, let’s plant organic fava beans in the garden!
Prepare the soil, sow the seeds and share tips and tricks to help them grow. A convivial moment to reconnect with nature and celebrate Epiphany together!
With Marine, in charge of the third-location nature center
(continuous for 2 hours, open to the general public, children accompanied)
Workshops take place outdoors: bring suitable clothing!
