On September 20, 2026, they’ll be there!
A major event to kick off the new season, our traditional community organizations fair showcases the full diversity and richness of Arles’s community groups. This festive day offers a unique opportunity to discover or rediscover the richness of our community life in the areas of sports, culture, the arts, humanitarian work, and more.
Most organizations are already well-versed in the process and have set up their booths to be ready as soon as the first Arles residents arrive. As you stroll down the boulevard, you’ll notice that by 8 a.m., some have their tents already set up, while others are ready to take to the dance floor carefully laid out on the ground next to their booths, and fish specially caught for the occasion are being prepared to put on a show in aquariums alongside numerous musicians tuning their instruments.
As for the public, enthusiasm is high every year, with thousands of people and families turning out! Throughout the day, in addition to visiting the booths, the public can watch demonstrations or try their hand at cultural and sporting activities, and ultimately sign up for one or more activities for the coming year.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the many volunteers who dedicate their time and play an essential role in bringing Arles’s local community to life.
On this occasion, as we do every year, volunteers from the Maison de la vie associative d’Arles will be serving coffee and madeleines to the participating organizations from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Maison de la vie associative booth. We hope to see many of you there!
