On Saturday 18 April 2026, from 4pm to 5pm, the Théâtre d’Arles will host a round-table discussion on a thought-provoking question: are Italian illustrators at the forefront of contemporary illustration?
Moderated by Riccardo Venturi, this event will bring together leading figures from the Italian art scene—Chiara Gaggiotti, Lorenzo Mattotti and Irina Zucca Alessandrelli—for a rich discussion on the practices, influences and developments in drawing today.
Organised by the Festival du Dessin, this event—open to all—promises to shed light on the current dynamics of contemporary drawing through the prism of Italian creativity. Free entry.
