This year, the Festival du Dessin is moving to new heights and setting up shop on the Esplanade Saint-Blaise for the festival’s closing weekend celebrations.
Free entry, with a complimentary aperitif courtesy of the Festival du Dessin.
Packed lunches are welcome after the market.
Bar and light refreshments available on site.
As a nod to our exhibition “Viva l’Italia”, we are inviting the Italian cultural festival Ciao Moka to provide a bespoke musical programme, featuring:
ALL’ALBA
Singers Germana Mastropasqua and Xavier Rebut invite us on a musical journey
through Italy, via traditional Italian songs and original compositions.
MAMARUA
Singers and multi-instrumentalists Lavinia Mancusi and Denise Di Maria take us on a unique journey between Italy and South America.
TARANTA LANERA
Blending tradition and modernity, Mari Lanera reworks popular songs from Puglia and the Bay of Naples over electronic music she composes herself, creating a spellbinding trance.
The interludes will be provided by Bison Bison, a DJ from Arles who will keep the groove going.
A continuous drawing workshop open to all, led by Mod Lécrivain.
Mod Lécrivain invites you to enjoy a fun, creative session creating a collaborative mural (using Posca pens on wooden panels, where drawings, lines and words will contrast with the material, colour and texture of the surface).
You’ll also have the chance to create your own individual piece (a drawing or watercolour on a postcard).
Feel free to express yourself!
Free workshop, open to all, all ages welcome, all levels – no need to be ‘good at drawing’, just keen to draw.
Children remain the responsibility of their parents.
