I’ve covered a lot of miles on foot, by bike, by car … to be quite amazed by this infinite desert space that is California.
… My hikes were always accompanied by the image of the little wooden shack blown away by the hurricane in the film “The Wizard of Oz”…. and then that little tune that ran through my head as I walked “Little House on the Prairie” … Back in my natural city of Arles, I rediscovered the poetry and magic of the Provençal and Camargue landscapes … the music in my head had changed a little, it’s warmer and more festive, giving rhythm to my steps to the sounds of flamenco guitars. … landscapes, old stones, … but above all my favorite bird, the Pink Flamingo … here are a few images that I present to you between California and the Camargue.
