To mark the occasion, we came up with a collective exhibition showcasing artists and creative people from the Arles landscape. Naturally, we named it Foundations. Beyond origins, we’re interested in what we wear without always knowing it. What goes on underneath, structures the gesture, orients the form even before it appears.
This exhibition questions what matter retains from what has passed through it. Each work forms a stratum: at once a trace of a before and a promise of an after, suspended in that in-between where something begins.
