Accompanied by a naturalist guide, you enter the heart of the nature reserve to observe the many species that populate our marshes depending on the season: ducks, birds of prey, waders, flamingos, herons (the site is home to Europe’s 9 species of heron, including the famous Bittern).
The meeting point is in front of the Marais du Vigueirat reception area. The guide will take you by electric minibus to the heart of the nature reserve, 5 km further south. You will then walk to several observatories to discover the birds present in the marshes. The guide will introduce you to the different species using a telescope, and give you plenty of explanations about the fauna and natural environment.
Lasting 2.5 hours, the naturalist tours take place all year round, in the mornings and afternoons, with timetables that adapt to the rhythm of the seasons.
These outings are not just for birdwatchers, but are suitable for the whole family. The tour is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
