Conceived as a contemporary Dionysian festival, the project explores what it means to “party” today: is it a space for consumption or a space for transformation? A cultural product or a collective experience?
Through a reimagined portrayal of Bacchus—not as a decorative deity, but as a critical figure spanning the ages—the festival unfolds a vibrant narrative of the history of celebrations: from ancient bacchanalia to contemporary raves, from popular banquets to institutionalized festivals.
The project combines an artistic program, participatory workshops, an evolving scenography, and festive activities to offer an accessible, inclusive experience rooted in the Arles region.
