With *This is a trap*, Igor Cardellini and Tomas Gonzalez present a participatory performance that questions our ability to take action in the face of the challenges of our time. Through a system of cards distributed to the audience—containing instructions and messages—the spectators become fully active participants in the experience.
Straddling the line between inaction and taking action, the performance explores those pivotal moments when habits waver and new possibilities can emerge. A sensitive and immersive piece that invites everyone to question their reactions, their choices, and their own capacity to act.
