In the tradition of minhwa, a form of Korean folk art, the plum blossom—which symbolizes perseverance and resilience—is often depicted on screens, prints, and vases. Inspired by this ornamental art form, the Young Artists will create a winter bouquet using India ink and watercolor, playing with shades, transparencies, and textural effects to evoke the fragility of the petals and the strength of the branches.
