“Agua” Exhibition and Screening of the Film “Saudades do Rio Doce”

The Aux Docks gallery in Arles is presenting an immersive exhibition featuring works by Claudia Neubern and Claudia Serantes. Visual artist Claudia Serantes exhibits her installations and tempera paintings on wood, creating a lush botanical world filled with organic forms and vibrant colors that echo the wounds of nature. The exhibition offers an artistic reflection on the environment and the living world.
The gallery is also showcasing documents and behind-the-scenes images from the making of Claudia Neubern’s film “Saudades do Rio Doce,” which chronicles the socio-environmental disaster that occurred in Brazil in 2015 and will be screened at the Cinéma Actes Sud on Thursday, August 27, and Sunday, August 30.
