The Swing of Gospel Singers is a group of six French gospel choir directors, united by a shared passion for gospel music and singing together.
Through a repertoire of gospel and Negro spirituals, the artists pay tribute to this music steeped in emotion, hope, and brotherhood. Accompanied by a pianist or performing certain pieces a cappella, they reinterpret the great classics while also presenting their own compositions and arrangements.
Their warm, complementary voices highlight the “call and response” tradition characteristic of African-American music, offering the audience a moment of shared joy and emotion.
