For this horse-themed day, the schedule will be as follows:
Olivier Faure Triathlon Championship:
In partnership with the Maison du Cheval Camargue and the Association of Camargue Horse Breeders, the third round of the Olivier Faure Triathlon Championship will be held.
This Championship, held over six days throughout the year, brings together the best riders in the discipline.
This day will see some thirty riders compete.
Conformation and Gait Competition:
In 2026, a championship will once again be held, featuring qualifying competitions (approximately 10, spread across the Camargue Horse Breeding Region and other French regions) leading up to the final, which will take place in September as part of the Camargue Horse Breed Championship at Mas de la Cure – 13460 STES MARIES DE LA MER.
July 12 will be one of these qualifying competitions.
Horses are judged in hand for conformation and gaits (walk and trot).
Conformation, Gait, and Performance Competition:
Morning from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.: judging of in-foal mares, 2-year-old fillies, and 3-year-old fillies
Afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.: judging of 2-year-old colts and 3-year-old colts
4:30 PM – General awards ceremony at the Place des Arènes
6:00 PM – 54th edition of the Corrida du Réjon d’Or at the Arènes de Méjanes
Bulls from Ganaderia Jalabert Frères for Joao Moura Fils, Léa Vicens, and Guillermo Hermoso de Mendoza
Food available on-site at La Bergerie de Méjanes and at Le Mazet du Vaccarès
