The Rencontres Live Magazine was born ten years ago in the Arles night. The idea was to try out an ephemeral experiment “99% real”: a group of photographers, artists, filmmakers and journalists who, despite their stage fright, told what they couldn’t tell anywhere else, thus creating, for one evening, a living newspaper. Once again this summer, under the stars in the Théâtre Antique, the pages turn, the columns follow one another – we move from one subject to another, from an intimate account to a planetary investigation. The entire show is devoted to photography, the making of images and the visual storytelling of the world. The night is soft, the screen giant (160 m²!), the live music and the stories whispered in the ear, unforgettable for sure.
