As a cycle fades, links blossom.
In Arles, the Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation welcomes us, emerging women artists.
As we take possession of these spaces, formerly hotel rooms, we are keen to think in terms of “doing together”, blending a diversity of bodies and minds. The artistic and theoretical practices of each are intimate, political, experimental… Inspiration that we draw above all from our own flesh and blood, allowing us to anchor ourselves deeply and honestly in our own “selves”.
“ourselves.
In this evolutionary perspective, we are faced with a reality that is impossible to ignore: the worlds of art. In these hectic times, we seek rest in our shared rooms…
And restlessness.
In addressing our fellow artists, we ask for mutual recognition of our forms of expression, of our essentia.
As a cycle fades, a mansuétude blossoms.
