The Laboratoire d’Études en Sciences des Arts (LESA), the Cellule de Culture Scientifique, the Direction Culture et Société and MOSAICC invite you to discover major contemporary environmental issues through the eyes of artistic creation. Starting at 2:00 pm, at the Hôtel Quiqueran de Beaujeu 16 rue des Arènes in Arles, the Art, Science, Ecology micro-festival will take place.

This event marks the restitution of a workshop conducted with students of the bonus program Art, science, ecology, in resonance with LESA’s research work. It features a multi-disciplinary program of performances, lectures, workshops, exhibitions and participatory events focusing on major ecological themes: energy, digital technology, non-human animals, landscape and extractivism. The festival also illustrates the synergy between university research and artistic creation through a variety of formats – performances, sound art, photography and lectures.
Conceived as a convivial and festive occasion, the event will also feature a DJ and a catering service, encouraging exchanges between the public, artists and researchers.
