Enquête participative pour le suivi de chauve souris : projet Rest Chir’eau

The Rest-Chir’Eau project is studying bats to understand the interactions between this little-studied animal taxon and wetlands, which are highly threatened environments. The project seeks to use bats as bioindicators** of the functionality of these habitats.
Thanks to the monitoring data collected, the aim is to be able to assess the stakes involved in restoring the Trame Turquoise (these crucial natural spaces that connect land and water) on the former arm of the Rhône known as the “Bras de Fer”, now bounded by the Canal du Japon.
