Led and animated by the Tambourinaires, this emblematic procession brings together the participants of the Capelado in an atmosphere that is at once solemn, festive and deeply rooted in the traditions of Arles.
The parade sets off from Place de la République, then crosses Rue Jean Jaurès before joining Boulevard des Lices, on the section between Rue Jean Jaurès and Carrefour de la Croisière. It continues along Montée Vauban, rounding the Arènes traffic circle, before entering the Arènes arena via the Arrastre tunnel at around 4pm. This highlight precedes the Capelado, scheduled for 4:15 p.m., and marks the official opening of the Easter Feria with elegance and fervor.
