All young Arlesians aged 6 to 11 are invited to join (accompanied by a parent) the children from the day-care centers to enjoy this great day organized by the City of Arles’ local events department. A festive gathering is planned in Place de la République, followed by a musical parade to the bullring, where a carreton encierro (false bull release) and other workshops will be held. A visit to the Espace toros is also planned, with special activities for children.
Program :
– 09:30: Gathering + snack / Arenas forecourt
– 10am: symbolic presentation of the “Keys to the City” by the Mayor
– 10:05 am: entry to the Bullring via the arrastre
– 10.10am to 12pm: games in the arena with the Ecole Taurine d’Arles and the Fédération Française de Course Camarguaise
– 12:15pm: lunch at the Voltaire school
– 1:45pm: departure for Espace Toros
– 2.15pm to 4pm: visit to Espace Toro,
– 3 to 4:30 pm: demonstrations in the Sonnailler bullring + afternoon snack
– 5pm: return by bus to each center
