Synopsis: Following a car accident, a young communist member of parliament, Michele Apicella, is suddenly struck with amnesia. Friends from a water polo team unexpectedly come to pick him up for a match. During the game, memories and reminiscences resurface, particularly about his childhood and his early days in the Italian Communist Party (PCI), prompting him to reflect on politics, the media, cinema, his life… But as the match progresses, the tension mounts: with those around him, within his own mind, and also… in the pool.
