Synopsis:
1899. On a stormy night, Aimée, a young republican schoolteacher, arrives in a snow-covered hamlet in the remote Hautes-Alpes. Despite the inhabitants’ mistrust, she is determined to enlighten their obscure beliefs. As she immerses herself in the life of the community, a sensual vertigo grows within her.
