In Colombia, the “whites” think that the Amazonian Indian feels nothing because in his language, there are no words to describe feelings. Is it possible that an entire people feels nothing and has no words for love? Director Sergio Guataquira Sarmiento, himself a descendant of an almost extinct Colombian indigenous community, sets out to meet the Cacuas and talk about their feelings, their loves and their solitude. In so doing, he reconnects with his own Indian identity.
With humor and tenderness, the Cacuas try to teach him what it means to be a native. This initiatory quest is an emotional X-ray of an entire people.
