The three exhibitors of the “Regards Croisés sur les Chemins de Compostelle” event are both photographers and experienced walkers, offering you the chance to explore the remarkable places along the Way.
The Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela can be a physical, spiritual, aesthetic and relational experience, turned towards others but also towards one’s own interiority. Each exhibitor’s approach is interesting and varied:
Serge BERNARD – 5 Chemins au compteur. A photographer with a passion for travel and adventure photos, he offers us large-format views of remarkable points along the Chemins. His favorite camera: Canon EOS R8.
Patrick CILIA – 8 Chemins on the counter. A lifelong enthusiast for images and photos, he decided that his smartphone would be his only means of photographing his journey.
Gérard HARLAY – 12 Chemins au compteur. Photographer and graphic designer Gérard HARLAY presents a series of 12 scarves evoking the paths he has taken. Shot 1:1 with a Panasonic LX100 and Photoshop.
Want to get started yourself? Exhibitors will be on hand throughout the event to share their hands-on experience of the Chemins and the photographic approaches they’ve used.
The exhibition is organized jointly by the Compostelle 2000 Paris association and the association d’Accueil Pèlerins des Chemins d’Arles (APCA), the association des amis de St Jacques PACA Corse, and the Maison De la Vie Associative d’Arles. With the support of the Town Hall and the Office de l’Arles.
