This event brings together the best Grill Masters in France and the most passionate. They come from all over France, and sometimes even further afield, to the Camargue to cook in the open air. Creativity, meticulousness, precision, invention… every year, this growing community of enthusiasts pushes back the boundaries of BBQ cooking, a culinary art in its own right! Whether you’re a participant or a visitor, you’ll be able to meet plenty of people and get tips on how to make your barbecues a success. Among the many activities on offer: take a course with real specialist chefs, discover a thousand new flavours, buy equipment from our partners at their stands and, above all, come and share our love of barbecuing and conviviality!
Candidates will cook on Master Touch barbecues provided by the organizers. They will also be provided with an accessory kit (lighting chimney, tongs, spatula, charcoal).
What are the rules?
– The competition is organized in 3 rounds on the afternoons (Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon and Sunday lunchtime).
– Each team has 2h30 to prepare its dish, which will be presented on the official Championship plate.
– Recipes are free, but meat must be grilled and/or smoked.
– Side dishes are accepted. The dish presented is judged as a whole.
