It’s like being in the country in the city: it’s incredibly quiet, you can hear the birds and cicadas singing, meet the squirrels and feed the horses in the field in front of the house, all the while being quickly connected to the center of Arles, and just a 7-minute walk from all the local shops (bakery, butcher’s, greengrocer, supermarket, pharmacy…).
The guest house offers five fully-equipped, self-contained apartments, three studios: Le Jaune (2personnes), Le Rose (2personnes) and Le Blanc (2personnes) and two apartments: Le Bleu (2/3personnes )and Le Vert (2/4personnes) where each person can live as they please. We don’t offer breakfast, but you’ll find everything you need for cooking in the apartments and a very good bakery nearby.
And as soon as summer arrives, you can relax by the pool.
At certain times of the year, we invite artists from all disciplines to come and take up residency at La Madeleine Arles while they design or produce a project. You may even meet some of them, and discover their work through the works and editions you’ll find in each apartment.
