It is at the gates of Arles near the Rhone, that an art historian architect fell in love with a former Priory of the order of Knights of Malta. In 2000 he decided to restore life and warmth to this chapel built in 1610 on the way to Santiago de Compostela. This unique place, imagined in a “bed and breakfast” spirit, morphed into a small boutique hotel: six acres of lush parkland now houses basins, newspaper stand, Garden, gardens symbolists and horses. The decorative style of the rooms evokes, from one floor to the other a real tour of the world: India, Provence, the Spain, the contemporary… come to awaken your inspirations. The soul of the chapel today co-exists with a huge lounge baroque, conducive to musical evenings and exhibitions. Not far away, in the heart of orchards, lovers can sleep in a capped Tower of a towering Crown. On the Patio of the fountain and at the Maison Rouge, you will appreciate the comfort of the rooms level or even the intimacy of the terraces.
