The Camargue inspires many talents. Craftsmen have found an ally in the Regional Natural Park. Part of the Valeurs Parc or Eco-acteurs of the biosphere reserve networks, their creations and productions 100% made in Camargue can be found in the shops of the Domaine de la Palissade and the Camargue Museum. They also participate in Park events and showcases such as the Espace Terroir Camargue plurielle in Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer on the weekend of August 15th.
Meet the craftsmen of Camargue! They will give you a warm welcome in their workshops and at their production sites.
- Arles carries the label Ville et Métiers d’Art thanks to the great number of creators and craftsmen working there. An itinerary has been designed for visitors to meet them. They use earth, wool, textiles, paper, stone or metals for their art. Discover centuries-old know-how in the shops and workshops of downtown Arles!
- Art’isans du Rhône
Every year in August, the Camargue Regional Natural Park invites artists and artisans to occupy the natural areas of the Domaine de la Palissade. All day long, local artisans and producers exhibit their craft and art. Music leads the way under the pine trees and on the banks of the Rhône.
