The site is managed by the Association &#8220;The Marshes of the Verdier&#8221; as part of a participatory approach with the inhabitants of Sambuc, a neighbouring hamlet. The Verdier marshes consist of four ancient fish ponds totalling 120 hectares and with diverse environments (rose bushes, scirpaies, salt meadows, bodies of water, tamari groves). The Verdier is particularly attractive to waterbirds.
