In Les Saintes-Marie-de-la-Mer, the speed channel has set world records for sailing speed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also experience gliding sports on sand on the large beaches of Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer or Port Saint-Louis du Rh\u00f4ne. Try sand yachting and discover new sensations!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">By the wind<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/camarguenautiqueclub.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sailing school in Les Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/nautismed.fr\/base-nautique\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nautical base in Port Saint-Louis du Rh\u00f4ne<\/a> schedule courses, internships and outings. The activities are supervised by professional state-certified instructors who welcome children from the age of 5. Whatever the season, gliding sports enthusiasts will find the best conditions to practice their passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Book a gliding or flying lesson at the schools for kitesurfing, windsurfing, wingfoil and sand yachting. In order to preserve the spots open to gliding sports, please adopt the suitable eco-gestures.<\/li>\n<li>Make sure you limit and manage your waste.<\/li>\n<li>Respect the protected areas and choose your anchorage carefully.<\/li>\n<li>Respect the dunes and vegetation.<\/li>\n<li>On the marine reserve of the Golfe de Beauduc, anchoring is forbidden. You are only allowed to pass by.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div> \n\n     \n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Freshwater<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>On the Petit Rh\u00f4ne, life is as fresh as its waters. Canoeing, paddle or even pedal boats guarantee you an unusual discovery of the natural spaces along the river. Swimming skills are mandatory for these sports. Two nautical bases offer discovery tours: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kayakvert-camargue.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Kayak Vert<\/a> in Sylvar\u00e9al and Manu Kayak, labeled \u201cValeurs Parc\u201d at the<em> <\/em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.palissade.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Domaine de La Palissad<\/em>e<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Outdoor sports<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Hiking, cycling and horse riding are the best ways to explore and discover the Camargue. Take your time, observe, stop for a swim, visit a Manade, a lighthouse &#8230; Don\u2019t forget to bring a pair of binoculars. Participants face an exceptional setting and also difficulties. The biggest challenge? Finish a course of 100 km across the natural area of the Camargue Regional Natural Park and vast domains which are usually inaccessible. The origin of this sport is a game that was practiced by the <em>gardians <\/em>since the Middle Ages. They catched and fought bulls. These farm games have now become a sport, a race during which the <em>raseteur <\/em>tries to catch attributes attached around the horns of the bull. In the Camargue, each <em>manade <\/em>(bulls and horse breeding farms), has <em>cocarders<\/em>: fast and nervous Camarguais bulls dedicated to this very popular sport. The season of the Camargue races includes the <em>Troph\u00e9e des As<\/em> which takes place in October, either in N\u00eemes or in Arles.
