The Classroom, the Work: “The Return of Venus
\nThroughout the year, students in the 6e 3 class at coll\u00e8ge Van Gogh have been immersing themselves in the history of the Venus d’Arles, creating original dioramas retracing its discovery in 1651 and its installation in the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles in the 17th century. For this Nuit des mus\u00e9es, they invite you to take a journey through the city, to meet the statue and their creations: passing through the Mus\u00e9e R\u00e9attu, the Mus\u00e9e d\u00e9partemental Arles Antique and the Museon Arlaten, you can collect photographs and put together your own photo album of the Venus d’Arles.<\/p>\n
The R\u00e9attu Prize for emerging creation
\n The Young Friends of the Museum will introduce you to the winning artist of the Prix R\u00e9attu for emerging creation, revealed in April, and offer a festive moment to close the last weekend of the exhibition in style.<\/p>\n
The Acad\u00e9mie R\u00e9attu
\nStudents from the “Acad\u00e9mie R\u00e9attu”, along with Master 1 and Master 2 students from the MoPA school, will be exhibiting their finest creations inspired by the drawings and paintings of Jacques R\u00e9attu and many other artists.<\/p>\n

\nIn the Commanderie Sainte-Luce, the exhibition showcases the creations made throughout the year during the various workshops run by the Public Services department. In particular, you’ll be able to discover a selection of “Keepsakes” created by participants in the teen workshop led by artist Suzanne Hetzel. And, as every year, the exhibition will run for 15 days, so you can keep the Nuit des Mus\u00e9es fun going!<\/p>\n
